A HAPPY Accident

There was a bit of a spill while working with my DOVE blender solution for this card. Dawn, from Wplus9, suggested using some of the solution mixed with a drop of re-inker to create a soft background for a stamped image in SYS2, day 9..The solution is what spilled...lots of:(..not one to waste my materials I mixed in a drop of color, smeared it around on my craft mat and inked up my stamp with it.
Here is the result.
stamped image inked up with blender solution and re-inker.
Maybe this is not new to anyone but myself, but I thought I'd share the results. It is almost like flocking, just a little bit of texture that can be felt with the fingertips. ( I send cards to a friend who is blind and texture is very important.)

I made a few cards with the images and several of the new dies from PPP.
Paulina, from Pretty Pink Posh is  having the  Cutting Edge Blog Hop on Friday August 22.
There is plenty of time to make some cards and join the fun!

Grab your dies and Sequins and get creative:)

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! Great save, Laura Jane! I love all the texture you achieved on your cards, and that it worked out perfectly for your friend, who is blind! Loving all those sweet sequins, too! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
