Hop for Hope

Hello!  and Welcome to my stop on the Secret BCRF Hop to Surprise Ellen and Julie:) If you are hopping from the beginning, you should be arriving from the blog of Kittie Caracciolo.

I'm thrilled to be a part of this surprise for Ellen filled inspirational eye candy using the COURAGE stamp set. THANK you Carly, for inviting me:))
Creating  encouragement cards for those that are going through the trials of BC is super easy with the COURAGE stamp set. As you will see, I LOVE the many layers in the flowers..plus the sentiments are unique.
This stamp set is dear to me, as my Mother and MIL are BC survivors. Mom is currently recovering from her second bout of  NON-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and doing well in spite of "chemo brain"..which on some days, I think I experience sympathy symptoms of:)) If you or someone you love is fighting the battle of any kind of cancer, I highly recommend the recovery program and life-style recommended by Chris Wark in his Chris Beat Cancer Program!

Here are my cards:

For my first card I stamped a heart with the sweet flowers in the Courage set and using Crisp Inks from Altenew onto White cardstock

The second Card features the Ribbon die from Courage set.  I cut two ribbons from pink CS. On the second ribbon, I took the die and re-cut just the top loop to make a BOW:) Then I stamped and cut the flower elements using the coordination dies. Stamped the sentiment onto the lower part of the ribbon tail...after doing a bit of stamp surgery:)) Mounted the arrangement onto a white panel cut with the pretty scalloped SUNSHINE LAYERS.
The remainder of the sentiment is stamped
on the inside of the card.
And for my final card, I stamped a fun floral background using the flower layersfrom Courage and colored up Plant Lady with Prismacolor pencils.

Thanks for stopping by!
Your next stop on the hop is Laurel Beard, Happy Hopping!

Hi Laura Jane ~ Your cards are incredibly lovely, especially the one in the shape of a heart. I look forward to sending a card with the sentiment, "You're a survivor" to a friend currently going through breast cancer treatments. This is such a horrid disease and this blog hop is a fabulous way to continue to spread the word about awareness. Thanks so much for sharing. ~HUGS~
