It's been a joy seeing all that Ruby 'shares' in the crafting community. Her love of learning and mastering new techniques is evident in her creations! The amount of cards and projects Ruby shares is staggering! BRAVO!!
***Remembering a PM several years ago from Ruby about hoping to be on the same DT someday...I feel we are already on the most rewarding team together now. Team Mamma:
creatively nurturing little people; growing them in mind, body and spirit:))In celebration of RUBY, I created this card, encouraging her to CONTINUE creating for the JOY and wonder of it all:))

Here's my card:
OH, what fun I had creating this one! Using the MISTI and Crips inks, along with clean water mist, I achieved a very loose watercolor look on the leaves and Flowers. I shared a quick process video on Instagram of how I made the "gingham look" background. CLICK here to see it:) After fussy cutting and inking the edges of the leaves, I arranged a pretty floral swag mixed with a few blooms simply stamped and die-cut for interest.
I then added a heat embossed sentiment and a thin messy bow and clear drops for embellishment.

Why do I craft? Because creating is wonderful therapy for me...working through a technique and completing a project is VERY satisfying:) like chocolate and afternoon tea.

Supplies used:
ALTENEW, Ethereal Beauty, Focus on You, Molded Lines Stencil, Crisp Inks: Sea Shore Mini Cube SetSweet Dreams Mini Cube SetTropical Forest Mini Cube Set,
SHIMMERZ paints products; SPRITZ :Chick-a-dee, VIBEZ:Glorious Day
Silver Floss, Clear Embossing powder, Nuvo Drops

Your next stop is the final blog on the list; Michele Ferguson!
Flutter on over there to see an ethereal beauty of a card:)

OH I knew you'd work your magic, LauraJane! I'll be heading over to IG to watch that video - but, if you don't mind, I'll linger here a while... seems you've also mastered flower-arranging, and you always make me love blue! xx

Really Pretty card!!!

Teri S. said...

Such a lovely background you created with the soft yellow gingham pattern. Almost looks like the flowers are resting on a tablecloth on the kitchen table. :) It's nice to see spring looking flowers as summer is winding down & most of the flowers have quit blooming in our yard. I love fall colours, but don't like to think about the winter season coming. This has been a marvellous blog hop & seeing the creations & beauty is like a gift in itself.
