Altenew November 2019 Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop + Giveaway +Video

Hello Papercraft Fans! and welcome to my stop on the Altenew November 2019 Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop. You should be arriving from the blog of Svitlana Shayevich. If not just go to the Altenew Card Blog to start at the beginning. You won't want to miss a single stop on this hop!

Just a note about the new Gradient CS from Altenew: Ultimate Gradient Cardstock Release Bundle
Our gradient cardstock shades have been hand-selected to coordinate with our inks, making them the perfect choice for layered die cutting, 3D dies, and more! The color families include Cherry Blossom, Green Meadows, Red Cosmos, Sea Shore, Shades of Purple, and Summer Afternoon, and each sheet has been sized to fit on our Mini Blossom Die Cutting Plates. You're sure to find one (or more!) to add to your collection!

Having all the colors together in one package made it easy to create with the 3D dies .And it took the guesswork out of what colors to use. I really enjoyed working with all the Gradient collections for today's 6 samples.
Take a look at my cards:
Starting out with the Gradient Cardstock Set - Red Cosmos and Gradient Cardstock Set - Green Meadows and a kiss of Gradient Cardstock Set - Cherry Blossom. Placing three colors from the Red Cosmos set behind the Washi Tape die cut background made a pretty gradient setting for the 3D flowers and Green Meadows frame, which has two layers off set to create a shadow effect..
Friend what would i do...Featuring:

I couldn't help but think of a Giraffe while using the Gradient Cardstock Set - Summer Afternoon!  And the MEGA ALPHA DIESMega Alphabet Y Die are a perfect fit on these new Gradient CS sets!

Thinking of you...Featuring:
Flower Vine Stamp Set for sentiment

 ********************************************************************************************************
Getting two cards from die cut is always a bonus! For the Gradient Cardstock Set - Sea Shore I have a video sharing just how these two cards came together using the four gradient colors in Sea Shore :)
The Gradient collections are great for In-laid die cut color blocking techniques!

Hello There...Featuring:

And a cool FAUX layered die technique shared by Jennifer McGuire.
Sending big hugs...Featuring:

You can watch my video below or on my YouTube channel of how these cards were made.

 ********************************************************************************************************
Finally I wanted to share how the gradient cardstock collections can make quick Ombre backgrounds when paired with Cover Dies. These two cards highlight the Gradient Cardstock Set - Shades of Purple.
By adhering the gradient colors of card-stock to a piece of plain white cardstock first, then runnin gthe the cover die through the machine, an easy ombre is created..save the tiny bits and die-cut pieces for a second card!
Sending Hugs...Featuring:
 ********************************************************************************************************
Selectively adhere the die-cut Dainty Blooms Cover Die pieces from the card above onto grey CS Then color the "leaves" from a second Dainty Blooms Cover Die cut from white CS with Artist Markers..then pop those into place for a fun background.
Thanks!... Featuring:
That's all for me today using the new Gradient Cardstock .
Your next stop on the hop is Nathalie DeSousa.

How clever to cut that flower in multiple shades and then offset them just so. I love your creativity here -- and your use of the negative cuts to make another cool card.
