AQUA Spectrum Noir - Nature set

Simply had to play with these new AQUA Spectrum Noir Markers. They just arrived in the mail yesterday:))
After a quick coloring session while the kiddos read to me, here is my first card using them:
Spritzed the BG with LOTS of water to get a loose feel. The poppies are more detatiled.
Wish I had more time to color today.

Masking and over-stamping seem to be my gig these days!

The  lovely polka-dots and roses were my main inspiration from TCC.

Colors from the SSS FLICKR #17 challenge were helpful as well:)
I used SSS Sunshine,Green Apple,Island Blue, and Doll Pink inks.  As well as Thinking of You and Always and Forever stamp sets.

And, having just received several sets KIRARINA WINK  and  KIRARINA+2Win OIL based markers in the mail, I wanted to color with them too:)

You can see the scrumptious glitter in this bud.

Hope you are inspired to play along at TCC.

Good Monday to you! Today begins a new Sketch at STAMPlorations bi-monthly challenge.
Here is my card:

    Here is the sketch:
I used a mask for the circle and stamped several poppies from BLOOM SKETCHES , one of my favorite sets:) colored with markers and distress inks. I then lifted the mask and carefully stamped one more set of poppies, and colored again.  I chose to heat embossed three large butterflies from ARTFUL FLUTTERS and TRENDY BUTTERFLIES . The smaller butterflies are simply stamped in two shades of ink.  The sentiment is from Bold Sentiments: Hello.

We have three Guest Designers foe you to enjoy:
Suchi, Robyn, and Coni
as well as the talented STAMPlorations Challenge gals.

Hope you stop by and leave some comment LOVE and take time to play along!!

The Card Concept Challenge #33

The Card Concept Challenge #33 starts today.

Feel free to use any of the styles of the team, Guest Designer or better yet, share your own style by combining one or more of the styles.  Card styles are explained HERE.

Here is my card for the Freestyle/collage category:

I started this card by stamping and coloring the BOW from Altenew's Bejeweled.
For the Background I masked the bow and stenciled ARTploration's FOILED in two shades of grey.
From there I decided to add some PTI's Meadow Greens embossed in PINK on vellum...I needed to carefully cut some of the bow out to tuck the pink in and around it, giving some dimension:)..which lead to adding several Scrolls Dies from Penny Black.
The sentiment is from PTI Tiny Tags.
All this I layered onto a piece of vellum that had been dry embossed and a pretty pattern paper, edged with Brilliant PINK polka-dot Washi from Doodlebug Design:)
Lastly, I messed with sequins, using micro dots to stick them on.
I think it's funny how this card grew from a simple pink bow on a white piece of cardstock. HA!!

Hope you are inspired to play along at TCC.
