Just a note about Julee's die cuts if you have not ordered from Verve stamps shop before:
They come in a high end clear plastic envelope, super for storage. I'm all about quality storage of my supplies:)

Notes on how I made this card:

  • Heat embossed the Blooms from   Beautiful Things on Watercolor paper
  • Brushed clean water over the images
  • Used Spectrum Noir Aqua Makers to loosely color the blooms

  • Die cut the bloom images as well as the the Branches from Beautiful Flowers Die Set
  • Fussy cut two of the smaller center flowers to have more sizes of bloom.
  • Die cut large pennant from Beautiful Flowers Die Set
  • Quickly colored with shades of green zig markers.
  • Embossed sentiment onto pennant
  • Created a bow, died to match the pennant and greenery.
  • Layered polka-dot and vellum papers onto a card base.
  • Adhered with foam tape, arranged to look like a hollyhock:)
  • placed a few sequins from  Copper Blush Sequn Mix

This must be the prettiest card in the history of cards - seriously!!! Your coloring and white embossing totally take these flowers up to "high end boutique embellishments!" If that's a thing - but you get my point. Wow oh wow! The layering is stunning. The chevron overlay is so pretty, I just want to reach through my PC and grab it! ;0 You really stole the show - well done!
