*****Effie is holding the release of the Oscar Stamp sets pending permission from the Academy. Unfortunately, there is an additional stamp set (one that has not been debuted) that also had to be pulled from this release. Thus, The Ton has a total of 26 new designs releasing on Thursday, April 12. We hope you understand!

I used the sentiment from Beautiful Day Bicycle for today's 1st card. I love the mix of Fonts and the size works so well when tucked in the corner:))

My next card is a very special one, given to my DH yesterday for our 25th Wedding Anniversary:) Yes, we enjoy biking.

  • On A2 sized white CS
  • I stamped that young looking couple from City Girls Special Day in Cali Blue
  • Created a mask for each of them and stamped the bicycle in the same Cali Blue
  • Then I cut the "inner" legs off each mask, so when I stamped the second layer of the bicycle, in Azurite, it looks like their legs are behind the bike.
  • Stamped Brushed Love and Brushed You in Blue Diamond ink
  • Added Growing Older with from Scripty Alpha Lower in Blue Diamond as well...I love how easy it is to customise sentiments with this set!
  • On separate white CS I inked the banner in Cali Blue and trimmed it out by hand
  • Colored the shadows in with Blueprint Sketch Distress marker drew in the "string" holding the banner to the bike
  • That tiny Happy Anniversary is stamped with Noir
  • Popped the banner up with foam tape
  • Placed two hearts from Valentine Icing Mix  to complete the card

That's all from me today...Do you have your cart full yet?

  1. How creative to stamp a background flower image in a soft ink and then do the Lone Poppy as the focal point. I also like your anniversary card. It was more work than it looks, and I bet your husband loves it!
