My next card is a very special one, given to my DH yesterday for our 25th Wedding Anniversary:) Yes, we enjoy biking.
Before you go, check this out!
I used the sentiment from Beautiful Day Bicycle for today's 1st card. I love the mix of Fonts and the size works so well when tucked in the corner:))
- I first stamped the luscious Poppy Garden BG in Vanilla Frosted Cupcake on a cream colored CS, size A2.
- Then trimmed it perfectly with the large Double Stitched Rectangle Die.
- Inked the vase from Fresh Cut Poppies in Lofty Mint, Blue Diamond and Bright Emerald at the lower end of the vase to deepen the hue.
- Now I stamped the beautiful open poppy bloom from Fresh Cut Poppies in Amber Citrine, Coralline and Coral Cavern.
- The stamen Dark Roast and Lemon Drop
- Next I inked the stem in Soft Garden and Deep Emerald
- The the leaves are stamped with Soft Garden, Hot Tourmaline, and Everglade Moss
- I decorated the Burnished Rose Gold Foil Tape with the tiny floral stamp cluster from Beautiful Day Bicycle using Staz-on black ink. I think it makes a pretty washi tape:))
My next card is a very special one, given to my DH yesterday for our 25th Wedding Anniversary:) Yes, we enjoy biking.
- On A2 sized white CS
- I stamped that young looking couple from City Girls Special Day in Cali Blue
- Created a mask for each of them and stamped the bicycle in the same Cali Blue
- Then I cut the "inner" legs off each mask, so when I stamped the second layer of the bicycle, in Azurite, it looks like their legs are behind the bike.
- Stamped Brushed Love and Brushed You in Blue Diamond ink
- Added Growing Older with from Scripty Alpha Lower in Blue Diamond as well...I love how easy it is to customise sentiments with this set!
- On separate white CS I inked the banner in Cali Blue and trimmed it out by hand
- Colored the shadows in with Blueprint Sketch Distress marker drew in the "string" holding the banner to the bike
- That tiny Happy Anniversary is stamped with Noir
- Popped the banner up with foam tape
- Placed two hearts from Valentine Icing Mix to complete the card
That's all from me today...Do you have your cart full yet?

Pretty cards.
How creative to stamp a background flower image in a soft ink and then do the Lone Poppy as the focal point. I also like your anniversary card. It was more work than it looks, and I bet your husband loves it!
