OCC-Day 9 – Simple Freehand Watercolor Painting

Oh FREEHAND!! UGH! ..... Many fears in the area of freehand. I so often over work and MUDDY up the colors.
I actually thought I could handle  the first homework  Jennifer Rzasa gave today ...The SPLATTER and a tree trunk. here is my first go at it.

Muddy!!
I just kept playing....
I DID come up with something worthy of a card though:))

Practice, practice! they both look good to me, and on the second one I just love the way you did the ground under the tree! Good work on this lesson!

Yeah, don't you hate it when it goes south? But I guess that's part of the creative experience, and the second one is stunning!
