Here's my card using Happy Flowers - ARTplorations Stencil
I used embossing paste with the stencil on pattern paper then added color around the raised edges and on the dried paste as well.

I haven't used any embossing paste before but now I need to give it ago. This card is stunning and I think your technique adding the ink after the embossing paste is fab! Really love the look of it!
