I'm thrilled to be CASEing a card from the dear Virginia Lu.

Mine |
I chose to start with vellum that had polka-dots
- Stamped my images and embossed them in gold as Virginia had done
- I then colored the backside of the vellum as Virginia suggested so as not to cover up the gold embossing. ( this makes a LOVELY soft wash of color show through the front side.)
- I DID add a bit of extra color carefully to the front for depth.
- The rest I pretty much copied from the original card...sentiment ,twine and circle dies with sequins.
Hop over to CASEplorations and join the CASE fun!
A perfect opportunity to CASE a card from a MASTER card maker: Virginia Lu!

Excellent job!
Love the spotty vellum and the bright colours. Your gold embossing powder looks much better than mine, what make is it? :)
Totally an excellent CASE! Totally!
Just gorgeous, your coloring and the polka dotted vellum - FUN!
Your flower is amazing, LauraJane! I love the extra coloring and glitter! I am loving how you interpret this challenge! Thank you for the KIND words :)
Thanks for the question Julie, I used Tsukineko Golden Glitz then Clear embossed and reheated then added a gold emboss from RECOLLECTIONS..a from Michael's craft store.
And it's oh-so-beautiful, just like Virginia's card.
