Here is my card for the first Card Concept Challenge of 2016.
Yes, it's cozy:) and even has a touch of warm FUZZIES!
here is the inspiration photo.
I was inspired by the knit mittens and Heart.
To create a freestyle Collage card:
- I started out with the Holiday knit stencil from Tim Holtz and layered a second Heart shaped stencil over the top for the three larger hearts... then added ink in shades of red to acheive the "knit" pattern. (Candy Apple, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar.)
- Removed the stencils and colored with Copics to create dimension...I'm still learning to work with Copics:)
- I decided I wanted tiny hearts too, so the FALLING Hearts stencil from SSS filled in with Peralescent embossing paste from DreamWeaver was just the ticket.
- The sentiment is from HoneyBee Stamps. It is embossed in white and then outlined with black pen.
- Cut with Wplus9 and Lawn Fawn Frame dies
- Finished it off with sequins from PPP and PTI

This looks amazing. How you have used these stencils sounds very complicated to me as I find just using one is hard. I was trying to work out how you made the sentiment look like this....thanks for explaining it, I like this idea and am going to give it a go x
Woah! This is stunning! The pattern in the hearts is just gorgeous! Love it!!
