The Theme is LOVE at The Ton Challenge Blog and you have all month to play along.
Here is my card:
- I cut a simple heart from masking paper and placed it in the middle of an A2 sized white CS.
- Stamped the Freestyle Stripes Cling Background in Warm Hazelnut...I love how it looks like woodgrain using this color ink:)
- Removed the mask
- Stamped the 3 layers of the bloom from Lone Poppy in Ballet Slippers, Red Sangria, and Valentine Red
- Used Scripty Alphas Lower to create the sentiment in Valentine Red
- Cut a mask for the poppy bloom and fussy cut a mask for the love you
- Stamped the roses from Scripty Alphas Lower in Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Beach Blondie, Coralline
- Chose a leaf from Fresh Cut Poppies, stamped that and leaves from Scripty Alphas Lower in Soft Garden, and Bright Fern
- Removed the masks
- Drew in the stem of the poppy to mimic the shape of the heart with a Ziggy
- Trimmed it nicely with the largest Double Stitched Rectangle die
Now it's your turn to get out your stamps from The Ton and Create something you LOVE!!!
There is a Whopping $50 Gift card that will go to the winning entry:))
