Gorgeous new Inspiration on the Inspired By All the Little Things Blog today!
Loving the pop of RED and WHITE on black:) I used several sets Designed by DAWN MCVEY from PTI. ***There is an extra special hop going on for her HERE, as she is recovering from an organ transplant.*** Sending many HUGS and Prayers for a smooth recovery!
Here's my card:
Blooms from VINTAGE LINENS are colored with white pencil after the outlined images were heat embossed onto black CS. Then I Ironed-off the embossing and Heat embossed the LEAVES in Black EP. O HOLY NIGHT has the BEST Christmas sentiments! Choosing one was difficult:)) I decided to Heat emboss it in White EP and added a black EP frame accent using the CENTER STYLE: FEMININE stamp set.
Next I tried some FRENCH KNOTS for the center of the blooms...Jennifer McGuire has a Great post here, sharing how easy it is to add a touch of stitching to cards:))
And STEPHANIE GOLD inspired me to add ribbon in a non-Bow type way at MIM#302 at PTI this week.
Matted the finished black card front onto a coordinating red base and called it done:))
Our special Guest Designer this week at Inspired By is Colleen Foelker from One Smile Lifts A Spirit.

This is really beautiful. I love the black and red and all the little extra touches you added.
This is gorgeous!
That's such a gorgeous card !
OMG, LauraJane, one can’t go wrong with red and black and pops of white. This is very striking and love the unique way you added the ribbon.
LauraJane, there is SO much interest in the details of this card! Those ribbon notches are brilliant, the tone-on-tone embossing, the french knots...swoon!!
