The Ton's Spring 2019 Release Blog Hop

The Ton's is celebrating it's Spring 2019 Release with 7 new designs! There are additional promotions with free gifts. Head over to The Ton's blog for more details.

Giveaways: Three winners will receive a stamp set of choice from our new Spring 2019 release (excluding Fantastic Feathers). To qualify, please leave a comment on each blog or youtube video. Comment period will close on 4/10 at 6pm EST. Winners will be announced on the The Ton's blog after.

I'm excited to share my card featuring the new Wildflower Bouquet Builder and Beautiful Branches stamp sets. With just a hint of masking I built up a pretty wildflower bouquet.
Going for a no-line colored look, I stamped the images with a very light yellow water based ink. Then I colored with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
I do not use water to mix the colors, but rather a lighter shade of marker to blend/saturate and move the colors around on the cardstock. Which in this case, do to an error, was 110# regular cardstock, not the usual Bristol Smooth 100#.
I like the challenge of leaving blooms white and and adding in shadows to make them pop!
How SWEET are those tiny bumble bees? There are two of them in the Wildflower Bouquet Builder stamp set and perfect to add as simple embellishment to any floral arrangement.

I hope you liked my card today. Thank you Effie for inviting me to participate in your Spring 2019 Release celebration!

  13. What a beautiful card. The 110# cardstock didn't affect the coloring in a negative way at all. From your card here and Chris Dayton's cards, I'm going to be trying to leave white now on my florals. You've both inspired me! And I hadn't noticed the bumble bees before, so I'm glad you pointed it out.
