Hello card making friends!
I'm excited to be a part of the Altenew Blog Hop celebrating the release of three beautiful new dye Ink collections. If you're hopping along from the beginning you should be coming from the blog of ..Lilith Eeckels,if you get lost along the way, I have the full bloghop list at the end of this post.
Take a look at the THREE new collections:
In my opinion it's a must have to own all four inks in each collection for no-brainer layered stamping. Choosing shades that work together is already perfectly coordinated for creating projects with depth of color due to the four shades of color in each collection. The Mini cubes are more affordable but as I stated above, inking with the Oval ink pads is dreamy!
Aren't those colors SCRUMPTIOUS?!? After seeing my cards, you will know which one is my favorite :)) They all work beautifully together as well as individually.
Let's take a closer look at each one:
For this first card
I used the coordinating stencil to Baroque Motifs to ink blend. Then I stamped over the top of that by inking all four of the colors from Tranquility onto the stamp using my MISTI tool. The Fancy Hello die cut looks great on top of the Baroquet Motif.
I have a video tutorial for this card on my YouTube channel.
Watch below or over there:
For the second card using Tranquility,
I again started ink blending on a white piece of cardstock going from darkest to lightest inks in the set. Then stamped some outlines from the Perfectly Perfect stamp set with all four colors: using the Dark Knight towards the bottom then work my way up to Nimbus, Cloudy Sky and Misty Morning. Embellished with a sweet Painted butterfly.
I mixed both Tranquility and Sugarplums on the Like Family mini stamp set. Inspired by Jaycee, I wanted this pretty bloom to look more like a succulent....so I went for the blues and added a little bit of depth of Plum from Sugarplums collection. Love how this inked up! Then I layered it with the Pegboard Canvas cover die
Wanting to show how beautifully all three of these new collections work together;
I reached for the Angelique Motifs stamp set.
You can see how beautifully Dots in Maple Washi embellished this one!
I chose one of my very first stamp sets from Altenew; Painted Butterflies. I inked these flutterbys with the Fall Harvest Dye Ink collection and embossed with one layer with Rose Gold Crisp embossing powder. Then I stamped and embossed several of the sentiments from the set, cut them down to banner size and inked them with the Cloudy Sky from the Tranquility collection. I also had fun with some splatters of the Tranquility...
Dear crafty friends, I hope you enjoyed looking at what I created for you today. Don't forget to hop along and leave comments as you view all the inspiration from DT and Guests for chances to win!

I reached for the Angelique Motifs stamp set.
- Leaves and Vines inked with Tranquility
- Floral Blooms inked in Sugarplums
- Then kissed with Fall Harvest for the center of the flowers.
