Oh! what fun was had with the Simple Nesting Flowers Layering Die Set . So many possibilities with all the varied shapes and sizes of flower dies. Look at all three cards together: Each one has the new Featured Sentiments Die Set showcasing the stamped sentiment.
For this first one, I die cut several layers of flowers and leaves from mixed media papers that I had in my "not quite right; could be useful later" stash.
By using his stylist and foam mat, I was able to curl up the petals and leaves for dimension. Then I layered them up on a Tangled Loops Cover Die that was heat embossed in several different places with the Caribbean Sky Crisp Embossing Powder.
For the second card I did not add any dimension to the flower petals and just left them flat. I still find it very pretty!

I love the loop background! It's not like any other I have seen. Those flowers are so whimsical, they go perfectly with the background. The layered backgrounds are amazing and the leaves are so versatile. Just great cards!

My faves from this release are many! The Mixed Leaves tops the list, closely followed by Stacked Diamonds, Burlap and then Layered Geo. Your cards are fantastic -- love the colors in the first set! Thanks for sharing your creativity!

With most releases it's easy to choose a favorite, but it's impossible with this one. They are all fantastic, but the Leaf Mix and those gorgeous cover dies are definitely at the top. Your cards are all beautiful. I love that you went to your "not quite right; could be useful later" stash. I have one of those, too, but I never think of it. You've inspired me to pull it out and see what I can do with it.
