So I cut all the layers of the CAF: Anemone blooms and leaves from several failed Artist Marker refill 'alcohol art' panels. Then adhered them together according to the layering guide on the packaging. Next I paired them with the Burlap Texture Dye, which I just love for adding an Autumn feel to this card. And finished by embellishing with Sea Shore enameled dots.

*******
Recently, I've fallen in love with Altenew's Simple Coloring Stencils which coordinate with some of their floral stamp sets. I wanted to see if I could create my own stencil to build up a Simply inked flower with CAF: Anemone dies. It worked beautifully.
Feeling like MacGyver.... 'I love it when a plan comes together!'

https://shrsl.com/2gr6l
I cut each die form cardstock to create a STENCIL...then inked through it for a SIMPLY COLORED Anemone as the focus of this card. The leaves are inked in the same way.
Stetching my supplies for a diffent look. This was almost a one layer card with the ink blended Anemone. and leaves, but I fussy cut around the edge of the right side for a bit more interest.

EDITED to answer questions from the comment section:
Hello Lovely readers! I have had a couple of questions about the "failed" alcohole ink panels I used to cut the layers for the first card...They are my attemps at using the Artist Marker Refills to create Alcohol Ink art as seen in this video with Lydia. I have tried this technique on Acetate as well as YUPPO paper, which is ment for alcohol inks. This paper also gives that nice shine to the project :)

Hope this helps!

Thanks for stopping by!
Hoping my cards inspire your next masterpiece!!

I love how you "upcycled" and creatively used your alcohol panels in the first card. It looks perfect! And the second card looks fabulous; the black sentiment really pops! Love the colour palette of both cards. So insiring!

Oh, I just ordered this die set, and seeing your card makes me chomping at the bit to get it! Love your colorings, but one question: what does ' several failed Artist Marker refill 'alcohol art' panels ' mean? When you refill your markers you hold them over cardstock? Sounds like a great idea...when I refill my markers it's a mess!
Anyway, I totally love the first card, with the burlap die. And I am going to try your stencil technique too. Thanks for sharing some beautiful ideas!

Both cards are very, very pretty. I am partial to the first card with the burlap panel. It looks very fall-like. I also have a question--How did you get the colors to look so glossy? Very pretty look! Also, like your idea of making your own stencils from card stock to color the different flower layers.

Laura Jane you absolutely amaze me in that you created your own stencil. Not sure I understood the process as I'm a visual learner, but still & all, I'm amazed.
