Altenew Cozy Creatures Stamps/Dies/Stencils Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

New Stamps, Dies, and Masks in the shop at Altenew. Plus!! Small Ink Blending Tools, so excited about them :) and then the Marker Toppers Decal Set  for the Artist Markers is a wish granted!!

Welcome to my stop on the Blog hop celebrating the Cozy Creatures Release at Altenew. You should be arriving from the blog of Maryam Perez. The Blog Hop roster at the end of this post so sit back and enjoy!

Below is the Full Cozy Creatures Full Release Bundle. I spy a few creature/critter sets, a coffee set as well as a Simple Coloring Stencil for the Baby Shower stamp set.

Take a look at my card samples below.

Simple Roses is what I used most from this release. The set begs to be colored!!

After heat embossing Simple roses in Gold EP, I water colored with WOODLESS watercolor pencils. The coordinating dies allowed for quickly cutting them out. Next, I created a nice arrangement incorporating the BAF: Japanese Mum. And embellished with Sunflower Palette washi tape along with enamel dots.

Next I wanted to use the Simple Roses Stamp  Mask Stencil  along with the new small Ink Blending Tools.
It was fun using the masks/stencil to create a Warm and Cozy background pattern. Then I selectively stamp the outline images of the simple roses with Autumn Blaze ink. Then embossed the outlines again on white CS for a simple focal point with me essentials sentiment strips. And embellished with warm and cozy enamel dots.

Ink Blending Tool - Small (set of 4)
Crisp Ink Collection: Warm and Cozy, Golden Sunset
Featured Sentiments Die Set
Warm and Cozy Enamel Dots

Enjoying those small ink blending tools, I continued on to a third card.
First, repeat stamping the tiny flower bud from the simple roses stamp set with Anchanted Gold Pigment ink. Then quickly coloring them in with the Mask Stencil and adding some details with artist markers. To Jazz that up a bit, I inked rectangles of varying shades of yellow for the background and stamped in Evergreen.
Moving on to a different stamp set called Sweet Flowers!

I started out by inking the Sweet Flowers outline image in Enchanted gold pigment ink twice onto white card stock. Then added the multi-step images for the blooms and stems. Then used the coordinating dies to cut them out and arrange them onto a panel stamped with a few of the tiny outline flower cluster.
Crisp ink combinations used:
*Butternut, Citrus Burst, Pumpkin Pie
*Sunray and Chamomile
*Blush and Rouge
*Pink Pearl and Coral Bliss
*Orange Cream and Autumn Blaze
*Limeade Olive and Moss

Critters are not my most comfortable images to color. However, steppping outside my comfort zone, I  watercolored the new Chipmunk & Squirrel Stamp Set . How cute is this set?!?
After inking a cute scene in the corner of an a2 card front, I used the Mega Alphabet C die to create a stencil to blend a very faint C .... is for chipmunk :) Then used woodless watercolor pencils for a no-line colored look.  Wondering now, if I need the entire Mega alphabet Dies to create ABC flashcards for my grandchildren.
