Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Tulips Outline Stamp Set & More Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone!! Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas!!

It is the 22nd of December, which means a new Altenew Paint-A-Flower stamp set for subscription holders. This post is part of the Blog Hop celebrating the new PAF release hosted by Altenew! There are a few other goodies being released today as well.

Dreamy Tulips Stamp & Gel Pen & Eraser Bundle

Take a closer look at the new Flower Gel Pen Set - Calla Lily . There are 3 adorable
Black ink Gel pens in this set, with Calla Lilly flopsy tops!
I  Stamped the part of new Paint-A-Flower: Tulips in Gold pigment ink onto a tag then quickly added a hand written note with the Gel Pen.

Paint-A-Flower: Tulips Outline Stamp Set

I painted the Paint-A-Flower: Tulips Outline Stamp Set for my main project today. I LOVE the mix of flowers and foliage in this stamp set!
Stamping first on the 9"x12" Watercolor Paper Pad, then trimmed to an A2 size card front, I then used the Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set for a No-lined watercolor look. This took several days to complete, allowing for dry time between coloring sessions for intense depth of colors and details.

Once the cardfront was finished, I trimmed it down even more and stamped the sentiment with Obsidian Ink, wrapped some metallic thread around it, and popped it onto a Neenah Desert Storm Cardbase,
I painted this in particular for a dear friend I've made on IG. Her birthday was earlier this month and I'm hopping it will arrive to her safely!
*******
And next, I wanted to see how the Retractable Eraser worked, so I did a little pencil shading on this second card.

Inked in Silverstone Crisp ink and colored with 2B and HB pencils, I found the Retractable Eraser to come in handy for cleaning up smudges and blending a few unruly pencil strokes.

Your first card is simply amazing! I believe it took several days. I can never get that intense a yellow, because I simply don't have the patients - or the skill! This stamp is so detailed that it looks simply gorgeous stamped with no coloring. I think this is one of my all time favorite Paint-A-Flowers!

LauraJane your cards are lovely. The first one with the yellow tulips is very bright and eye catching and a beautiful work of art. I would never have thought to use lead pencils to shade the stamped image as you have - thanks for that wonderful tip. The card is simple and clean and gorgeous. Liked the tag you did too. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent and ideas with us. Merry Christmas to you and yours. :)
