Paint-A-Flower: Rosa Floribunda

Welcome to my stop on the Paint-A-Flower: Rosa Floribunda Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop starting at the Altenew Card Blog. You should be arriving from the blog of Jenny Colacicco...I have the full HOP LOST at the end of this post.

I enjoyed a couple of relaxing coloring sessions using Artist markers and the Paint-A-Flower: Rosa Floribunda. I was testing out different papers to see how different brands blended as well as checking the vibrancy of the markers. To keep the game fair, all markers colors were the same for both papers. The results were very interesting!

This first card has a strip of Staples Ultra Premium Matte Photo Cardstock (sent to me by ENNA @RITZYHAG, a dear IG friend), which I stamped and colored the PAF: Rosa Floribunda... The BOLD colors was appealing, however, I found it difficult to blend the colors. My blending is never smooth, but the color wasn't moving at all.

FEATURING:
Ink Sprays: Pure White, Iridescent

This next one is stamped and colored on Neenah 110# Classic Crest...Not as vibrant, and still having trouble with my color blends, HA! Must have been off my color game :)))

FEATURING:

So which cardstock is your go-to for Alcohol Marker coloring?

It's fascinating to see the difference between the two different papers, and thank you for showing us your results. It's helpful to realise that even someone as experienced as you has times when you aren't entirely happy with your results - even when they look fantastic to me!

Very pretty and bright cards

I actually like the paper Ritzi sent you better. I am not so much a student of art that I can point out exactly why but the coloring feels smooth like polished stone.

Both cards are equally as lovely however I like the one colored on Neenah..partly because that's what I primarily use, unless I have Spectrum Noir paper.
