| Paint-A-Flower: Himalayan Poppy Outline Stamp Set |
Hello Friends! I am giddy excited to share all the new Coloring mediums released from ALTENEW today :)
DISCLAMER: Unknown to me, when coloring with the Hawaiian Shores Brush & Fine Tip Pens for the first time, I was experiencing a vision problem that wasn't discovered until after the cards were completed and submitted to the gallery. All is well now :) I was freaking out over the rapid decline in my ability to add color to images though!
I REALLY love the fact that these pens have the two different ends: Brush and Fine.
After stamping the Paint-A-Flower: Himalayan Poppy Outline Stamp Set several times with a light gray ink, I attempted a no-line coloring, soft look. But as you can see in the card below, that didn't happen!
I ended up re-stamping the two middle outline images again in black ink...then used the black Hawaiian Shores Brush & Fine Tip Pen to FREE-HAND, RE-LINE the blooms, stems, and leaves.
On a second card I added a free-hand frame showing the Brush end and Fine end of the markers.
So glad to have Masking Fluid from Altenew too!

I practiced using the Monochrome Shading Pencils set on the outline image from In the Woodland Stamp set.
