First up is a one layer panel using the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Vintage Tapestry Stamp set and Stencils from the kit to create a bouquet. The coordinating dies made easy masks for the large blooms and leaves. Next, I stamped the smaller flowers, then added filler flourishes and trailing blooms with the stencils. Metallic thread was the only embellishment needed as a Lace-up for the bouquet handle

This one is my favorite! I stamped all the layers of each element in the stamp set, and inked all the layers of flowers in the layering stencils. Then I die-die all of them and arranged a cluster/swag on a pretty gold embossed wreath. A Golden Frame was a simple, yet elegant finish to the project :)
FEATURING:
Crisp Dye Inks

Next, I moved onto the Embossing Folder. The stencil set has several layers to quickly add color to that glorious Flourish! I added one single stamped and die-cut daisy for a kiss of dimension. And I could not resist dotting each raised polka-dot with the Ocean Waves artist Marker.

*******
This last one is a bit more of a mixed media/ink blended, heat embossed wave of DUNE SPICE inspired card. I had recently watched the 2021 version of the epic SCI/FI movie classic and was quite taken with the color palette of the planet Arrakis.

Next stop is Emily Midgett!

Gorgeous Laura Jane! Your first card so reminds me of embroidered pieces my grandma would put on her end and coffee tables.

Laura Jane, that first card made with the gorgeous brighter colors blended well with lighter colors into that absolutely GLORIOUS bouquet absolutely changed my mind as to whether I would get this month's subscription or not, as I had basically decided to not get this one until I came to your blog postings. I absolutely was blown away by your bouquet!!! I'm wondering what you used for the base of the bouquet other than the thread, what was under the thread? It's extremely effective. I really like the 3D embossing folder but wasn't so keen on the stamp set, as it seems too similar to some of the first stamp sets that Altenew brought out, but you made the look much more bright and beautiful, and I am beyond impressed for sure! You should be a regular member of Altenew's Design Team if you so wished! They would be very blessed to have you as a member of this team!!!

I look forward very much to seeing more of your artwork, Laura Jane!

Best wishes to you,

Joanne

I really like your use of the artist marker to dot the embossed polka dots. It makes them pop more.

I so enjoyed the beauty of each elegant card! I really like the variety of cards that can be made with this one set because of the way everything coordinates. That gold frame is lovely.

What a fun grouping of cards. I think the tied bouquet one would make a wonderful wedding card.

All of your cards are beautiful. I can't get over all the detail you added into the first card. It looks completely different from all the other designs. Awesome!
