How exciting it is to see this new line of crafting goodies from ALTENEW!
Dreamy Bouquet Fabric |
The fabrics are so pretty; I mean the Watercolor Wonder print, choosing which bloom to be the star of the show. And then there's the pink Floral Shadow , and the Confetti dots. Okay so yeah, making that first cut is so difficult!
My sewing has always been wonky and not tailored for wearing. However I do like to mess around with crafty fabric thingies and the bibs really were the easiest to make! I simply used an existing bib from the baby trousseau as a pattern. They are backed with fleece to help keep the baby dry.
Giveaway Prizes
For my first project I decided to make a few DROOL BIBS for a wee fellow in my life:) The February 2022 Dreamy Bouquet Fabric collection has the perfect patterns for happy baby wear!

This next project is a late Birthday gift for another little one in the family: she calls it her BACK-BACK, (ie. backpack) It also works perfectly to carry a few ALTENEW craft supplies.
I found a free pattern on Pinterest for this simple bag. The finished bag measures approx. 10"x 9" and is reversible. I added a few French Knots to the center of a few blooms for a kiss of texture.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I used the new February 2022 Dreamy Bouquet Fabric collection!

Your bag is Amazing!!! Beautiful!!!
Gorgeous projects! I can definitely see myself sewing up a Crossbody Bag with this gorgeous fabric!
I love the bib idea. We have a new little one in our house, so this inspired me
Great projects. I really love the bag. Especially as that is my favorite print in the collection.
Gorgeous fabrics!
Oh, wow, I loved those ideas! Such a great way to use the fabrics, thanks for sharing.

Lovely projects, I am a Tote fan, so of course the little tote is my favorite. Thanks for the inspiration Laura Jane!
Beautiful fabrics! I LOVE the little tote!
Great projects. Love the little tote bag.
This is so fun! What a great way to branch out! Your baby bibs are sweet and the bag very cute.
Love the bag. Such beaufabric!
How's this for a laugh? At first glance, I thought the bib was a thong!
That little bag is to die for! And it's such a beautiful fabric, too!
Nice project shares. I like the idea for the bib and bag. Like Dottie, I thought the first one was underwear, but more for diaper covers.
Such wonderful, sweet projects. My youngest grandchild is five so he no longer needs a bib (although sometimes I need one!), but I definitely need that "backback" (I'll call it a tote)!
The bag is so cute! Definitely the fabric is amazing!
Love your projects and the fabric is so beautiful. Love the little French knots.
Very nice and easy projects, Laura Jane! I love the tote.
Love this Fabric release! Your projects were very informative and versatile for all levels crafters. Thank you so much. Tricia Podmore

Fantastic projects! I love the bibs!
So cute! Love the “back-back”!
Can never go wrong with a little tote! Love it!
