Altenew Celebrating Parents Card Drive Blog Hop + Giveaway 2022

Welcome to my stop on the Altenew Celebrating Parents Card Drive Blog Hop + Giveaway 2022. You should be arriving from Tenia Nelson's blog.
Remembering seniors who are in nursing homes or shelters this Mother's Day and Father's Day is the prefect place to send your handmade cards!

Take a look at a few of my card samples to jump start your creativity!

One of my FAVORITE new categories of crafty goodness from Altenew are the LAYERING STENCILS and SIMPLE COLORING STENCILS add a coordinating Die and I'm blown away with how Quick and Easy it is to make a card!

As a papercraft magpie, I keep everything stamped, inked and die-cut that doesn't quite work for new release sample cards in drawers and small trays for future use...this is how the card below came together. I've listed all supply elements used for this scrappy card with sweet bird.

Featuring:
*******
Quick stamping and messy coloring with Crisp Inks for my second card..which is almost a one layer :)) Just a tiny bit of water on regular 110#  white cardstock is all it takes for the Crisp inks to give a water color look.

That's all from me today. Hope you are inspired to create cards for the CARD DRIVE!!

Hi,
Love the bold colors. Great combo.
The second card: You can't never have too many paint or ink splashes.
It's let having a cupcake with sprinkles.
Both cards are very nice.
Thanks,
Erica K.

I love the bird and the colors you used are so vibrant. Of course the pink black and white go nicely together. i wish I could figure out how to color stamped images as you descrbed “messy” … i like that look a lot I just don’t know how. Lol i’m the one with three copic colorless blender pens trying to get some color nobody would see that went outside the lines to push back in. Lol
