Mixed Media Card | Altenew x Hero Arts Stampwheel Collab Blog Hop + Giveaway ($400 in Total Prizes!))

*******

Hello Everyone! It's LAURAJANE :) Welcome to my stop on the Altenew x Hero Arts Stampwheel Collab Blog Hop hosted on the Altenew Card Blog. There are TONS of prizes available so make sure to check out each Blog and COMMENT along the way for chances to win!

The STAMPWHEEL from Altenew is the perfect way to hold stencils in place while inking them up. I use this new crafting tool so often! IMO, it is by far, the BEST crafting tool since personal die cutting machines were created.

I have created a mixed media card featuring the BOLD FLORAL STENCIL from Hero Arts. It's older but a GOODY and still my FAVORITE from Hero Arts :)

The STAMPWHEEL sticky mat holds the stencil in place for precise inking.

After heavy inking through the stencil I give the project a good spritz with water and smoosh a clean piece of cardstock on top. Then, give it a solid rub to get a beautiful print.

The card below is the result of the technique above repeated several times after different colors are inked on the stencil. That color is just too good to waste!

*******
NEW Artist's Watercolor Tube watercolors from ArtistrybyAltenew give that same stencil a whole new look! The Artists' Watercolor Tube - Titanium White - (PW.6) is my favorite in the bunch as it will change the opacity of the other tube colors.
CHECK OUT my previous POST and VIDEO sharing my FIRST IMPRESSIONS of the Artists' Watercolor Tubes Palette Perfection Bundle.

Hope you enjoyed my projects featuring the STAMPWHEEL and Hero Arts stencil :)

Wonderful mixed media designs Laura Jane! The sticky mat’s ability to hold the stencil in place, for me was the second most important reason why I got this tool. Thanks for the inspiration!
