Altenew July Challenge

Hello! Happy Wednesday:))

I have finally finished a card for the Altenew July Inspiration Challenge – Weddings.

I'm pleased with how it turned out looking like fabric:)))

Since we are in the middle of the Daily Marker's 30 day Coloring challenge, I thought it would be good to continue coloring with the Ziggys for this one.

I have REALLY enjoyed the challenge of coloring something everyday.

I started out be stamping and masking the floral images from Majestic Bloom and Best Mom.
Worked on the No-line coloring technique by adding several layers of darker colors.
Then added some more tiny blooms from the Precious Moments set.
Finished off with a sentiment from Oriental Orchid.

I did add some shimmer with A Wink Of Stella and colored some blue haze shading with Copic and Ziggys

I used a stencil from PTI and Stencil Brushes. Inks are from The Ton: Soft Garnnet, Cosmo Pink, Valentine Red, Grand Fuchsia, Lemon Drop and Violet Fringe.

Hello! Have you all joined the fun with Kathy at The Daily Marker for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge yet?
For day two I have a set that had gone un-inked far too long; Summer Blooms from Wplus9. I chose to ink the stamps with the Ziggy's and spritz with water for a simple watercolor looking piece without much fuss. I did go back in and scribble some lines in for more detail:)

Here is the finished card with a quick hand colored striped cardbase.

I enjoy playing with this set as it lends itself to whimsical hand painted looking florals.
I think I went just a bit overboard on the tiny dots though! There are so many to choose from in the set. Hope to see your projects in the 30 day coloring challenge:)
