Build-A-Flower: Begonia

Build-A-Flower: Begonia & Ink Bundle (5% discount)
The samples I have for you today feature the 2 Crisp Ink color collections that come in this month's Bundle.
To make this card:
  • I stamped several of the Build-A-Flower: Begonia blooms using only the 2 DETAILED images onto an A2 card front; making sure to leave space in-between each Begonia
  • I varied the colors for the blooms using the Golden Sunset Crisp Ink collection
  • Then I stamped the leaves, using Green Meadows Crisp Ink collection
  • To create an interesting background for the begonias, I cut masks for all the blooms and leaves using the dies in the set.
  • place the masks onto the card front
  • Then I stamped the Begonia OUTLINE image in SUNRAY crisp ink..
  • The used anti static powder (cornstarch) to prep the surface for embossing
  • Inked inked the Dainty Swiss Dots  BG stamp with clear embossing ink and stamped  the cardfront
  • Added the Caribbean Sky Crisp Embossing Powder and set with heat
  • Removed all the masks
  • Heat embossed the sentiment with Caribbean Sky Crisp Embossing Powder on a separate piece of white cardstosk
  • Trimmed it to a square and matted it with another piece of CS colored with the Caribbean Sky Artist Marker
  • Popped the sentiment square into place and mounted it to a card base

Just for you...Featuring:

Using the OUTLINE image of Build-A-Flower: Begonia for this next card..inking with the Watercolor Brush Markers in the MISTI stamp tool. Spraying the inked image with clean water to help the colors move.
After inking up two Begonia blooms I continued with the same technique on several leaves. Then cut them all out with the dies.
I assembled an arrangement of begonias and leaves with bits of Leafy Garland Die covered with Pastel Strokes Washi Tape.
And popped the arrangement onto a white panel of FAUX letterpress using the Grid Stencil.
Hello Gorgeous....Featuring:
Watercolor Brush Markers: Warm Sunshine, Rouge,Emerald, Sweet Leaf
 *******
For my final card, I stamped all the layers in the Build-A-Flower: Begonia & Ink Bundle and added more details with Artist Markers and colored pencils.
After die-cutting the images I used the markers and pencils to drag the colors out to the very edges of each die cut.

Thanks....Featuring:
Artist Markers: R304, R601, Y512

Altenew January 2020 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway + Video

Hello and welcome to my stop on the blog hop celebrating the January 2020 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release at Altenew. The full Blog Hop list is  at the end of my post. If you saw Altenew's booth at Creativation 2020, you may have caught a glimpse of these new stamps already. It is a HUGE release with something for everyone!

Take a look at the entire Release below:

I'm excited to share what I have created using several of the newest stamps and dies. Now take a look at the fun I had creating with many of those new products!

First up I have watercolored the Incredible Stamp Set using the Incredible Mask Stencil to easily ink up the composition beforehand.

These large billowing blooms are the perfect images to practice watercoloring. I simply stamped the three Incredible blooms in Warm Sunshine crisp ink then added the watercolor to each petal (wet on wet technique)..and allowed dry time in between for definition.

Here's a sneak peek of three pans from the new Artist 24 pan watercolor set releasing next month.
You bring JOY to my life... Featuring:
Artist Watercolor 24 pan set...Coming February 2020

*******
Below is another card in which I used the Incredible Stamp Set and Incredible Mask Stencil:
With this one, I used the masks and stamp to create a one layer background. I then blended color onto each flower using the stencil. Heat embossing the radiating centers was all the embellishment needed to finish the card.
You are very special...Featuring:
Crisp inks: Ruby Red, Coral Berry, Warm Sunshine, Azurite, Andromeda

*******
The Retro Plantines Stamp & Die Bundle is a bold and beautiful set of branches of Leaves. We can never have too many leaves in our stamp arsenal!
I heat embossed the set with Rose Gold EP then cut them out with the dies. And finished by popping them onto a stitched background and border with the String Art Rectangles Die Set as a guide for my stitches.
Hello Awesomeness...Featuring:

*******
If you are a FAN of and own  the Painted Fantasy Washi Tape this next product is a MUST-Have.
Watercolor Halftone Die Set actually cuts out those beautiful watercolored clusters from the washi!!! How cool is that?!?! Can I get a YESSS!!!

This beautiful Die cut below sits on top of the new Bold Floral Drape Stamp Set,
I created the polka-dot BG with a little stamp kissing technique and the Dainty Swiss Dots Stamp Set: on the Bold Floral Drape Stamp Set ))
Sending Hugs...Features:
Crisp Inks: Rubellite, Ruby Red
*******
Here is a super easy card using the Watercolor Halftone Die Set and Painted Fantasy Washi Tape.
This time I added some splatter to the Die cuts for more interest. The Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan set is perfect for this...just give it time to dry on the washi before handling.
Hello Lovely... Featuring:

*******

And finally, if you are looking for a unique watercolor stamp check out the Watercolor Halftone Stamp Set, This has that Halftone texture found in all the other Halftone sets...However, this one has distinct floral images to get an easy watercolor look for your projects.
I REALLY enjoyed creating these two cards!!
To achieve this look, I DIFFUSED the colors with mini ink daubers on the Watercolor Halftone Stamp & Die Bundle. before making the impression on cardstock. I made a video which makes it easier to explain :)

Our newest Grand-baby arrived, so I was a wee bit behind on the voice over :)) However, You can watch the video below or on my YouTube Channel.

Happy Anniversary...Featuring
Crisp Inks: Olive, Moss, Warm Sunshine, Fresh Lemon, Coral Berry, Ruby Red, Grapevine

*******
This one is a one layer card featuring the same DIFFUSED ink technique from the previous card.
Here are the Crisp Ink colors  used:
Greens:
Olive,  Parrot, Moss, Evergreen
Yellows:
Warm Sunshine, Fresh Lemon, Honey Drizzle, Maple Yellow
Reds:
Puffy Heart, Coral Berry, Ruby Red, Grapevine
Purples:
Fuchsia, Deep Iris, Midnight Violet, Cosmic Berry
I simply LOVE the varied ink blended results!!

*******
That's all from me today..Please leave a comment below telling me your favorite stamp or die from this January 2020 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release. There are so many to choose from!

I still have my eye on the Simple Beauty Stamp Set; A fabulous set with Multi layers as well as Outline floral images.
