Altenew Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth

Happy New year everyone!

There's a new Build-A-Flower at Altenew. Isn't the Build-A-Flower:Hyacinth scrumptious?!?
If you are hopping along from the beginning, you should be arriving from the blog of Patricia Roebuck. The full blog list is at the end of this post.

Giveaways

To celebrate this release Altenew has graciously allowed me to draw a winner to receive a $20 gift certificate from comments left here on my blog. I will announce the winner by 1/5/2019, here on this post.

AND Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog for a chance to win.
Three winners will be announced on the Card Blog, and other three winners will be announced on the Scrapbook Blog on 1/9/2019.

I made two cards using the new Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth. This first one is colored with the Artist Markers after stamping the outline layers of the flower.
I added a 'cloud' of Mega LOVE, and some flicks of grass with the markers.

Layering Guide

Going YELLOW with the next card: by stamping all the leayers with Pocketful of Sunshine Crsip inks.
The Mega Hydrangea Stencil looks fabulous as a background for the new Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth set.
Embellished with a few thin strips of Essential Black & White 6x6 Paper Pack and a line of my FAVORITE: Dots in Maple washi tape.
I did enjoy the ease of using the coordinating dies in the set to cut out two layers of the hyacinth then stacked them together for a Decoupage Look.

I have a video of this card from start to finish. Watch it below
or in HD on my YouTube Channel.

Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth & Ink Bundle (5% discount)

I hope you have enjoyed my card inspiration using the new Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth! Your next stop on the hop is the lovely and talented, Zinia Redo. Be sure to leave a comment here, before you go, for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Altenew.

Thank you for all the lovely comments:)

These flowers hold such precious memories of my Mother growing them throughout my life, so I can almost smell them from here!

Happy New Year ! Loving the hyacinth, both your cards are fantastic & show off how beautiful each tiny bloom is. This was the first plant I ever grew, we planted them in clear pots when I was 5 so we could see the roots grow, I remember so well considering the time gap hehe. Thank you for the memories.
