Altenew Build-A-Flower: Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose Release Blog Hop

Hello Friends!

There is a beautiful new Build-A-Flower at Altenw. I'm excited to be part of the Blog Hop full of inspiration, Starting at the Altenew Card Blog. Blog Order is at the end of this post.

Welcome the stunning Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose!
https://shrsl.com/2qw63

This set has one flower with four layers and a cluster of three leaves with three layers. What makes this stamp special is that the layers are created in such a way that they can be used to give contrasting colors to the flower, or you can choose to layer them with shades of the same color. Use your imagination as you try out different ink color combinations with the Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose.

The Build-A-Flower: Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose special edition stamp and die set is only sold as a bundle. It includes one 6" x 8" clear photopolymer stamp set (19 individual stamp images) and one coordinating die set (2 dies).

Easy artsy look layering with this set.

For my first card, I stamped all the layers of the bloom in a light shade of pink then colored with Artist Markers. Each stamped layer helped me determine where to add deeper shades for shadowing. In the end I re-stamped the outline layer with the darkest shade in the Martian Terrain Ink Collection.  For the leaves I stamped with Firefly Crisp ink, then colored.
For a final pop of glamour I added Embossing Powder on the most detailed layers of the Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose  and leaves.
Simple cutting with the dies allowed for quick building of the arrangement and adhering to the cardbase with cover die and 3D embossed white cardstock.
Featuring:Martian Terrain Ink Collection
Translucent Pearl Crisp Embossing Powder

*******
For this next card, I stamped several of the Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose BAF, along with a few leaves, cut then out and arranged them on a cardfrond stamped with the Pinstripe BG. Mixing up the order of inks on the layers varies the look of each bloom. This particular arrangement was suggested in the idea/inspiration insert that comes with the set.
Featuring:Martian Terrain Ink Collection

A little splatter of Warm Sunshine Watercolor Brush Marker adds a kiss of whimsy to the finished card.

Two beautiful cards here! The technique you used for the first card--stamping in one light color, and adding shading with markers using the lightly stamped layers as a guide--is just amazing. Thanks for the coloring tips!
