Altenew Build-A-Flower: Coneflower Release Blog Hop

Hello Papercraft Freinds! I've used the NEW Build-A-Flower: Coneflower Layering Stamp & Die Set with three different 3D embossing Folders as backgrounds in this post.

Welcome to my stop on the HOP celebrating the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Coneflower Release. I have the FULL blog list at the end of this post. I love the whimsical lilt to the two coneflowers images in this set!

Build-A-Flower: Coneflower Product Description:
Extend a hand in gratitude and friendship with this delightful floral layering set.
This stamp set features two beautiful layering coneflowers. For ease of use, we have included two coloring layers for each part of the flower: the flower center, petals and leaves, and stem. The larger flower has three color layers for the petals.
The Build-A-Flower: Coneflower special edition stamp and die set is only sold as a bundle. It includes one 6" x 8" clear photopolymer stamp set (24 individual stamp images) and one coordinating die set (2 dies).

Check out the beautiful layers in this new set:

Below are three different ways to ink up the new BAF:Coneflower as well:
*Outline + Layer stamping,
*No Line + Layer stamping
*Heat Embossed outline + Layer stamping
*******
To start out, I stamped the BAF: Coneflower three different times with three different techniques. Then I used the Coordinating dies in the set to cut them out. Next I quickly inked three different backgrounds with the same color scheme as the layers of the flowers. And finally, I chose three 3D folders to accent the Coneflowers. Finished with sentiments and subtle embellishments. Matted with A2 card bases stamped/heat embossed in Antique GOLD EP.
Take a closer Look at each one;))

First up is the *Heat Embossed outline + Layer stamping of the BAF: Coneflower. Lightly sanded the embossed background for variation.

Featuring:
BAF: Coneflower
Crisp Inks: Shades of Purple, Lapis Lazuli, Nature's Wonders
EP: Antique GOLD Embossing Powder
Sequins: Satin Gold

*******

Next, *Outline + Layer stamping of the BAF Coneflower. Lightly sanded the embossed background for variation. Cut the blooms in half and adhered them to the edge of the panel accenting with a heat embossed strip of GOLD paper. Stamped the sentiment in Obsidian Black.
Featuring:
BAF: Coneflower
3D Embossing Folder: Simple Frame
Crisp Inks: Shades of Purple, Lapis Lazuli, Nature's Wonders
EP: Antique GOLD Embossing Powder
Sequins: Satin White

*******
And finally, *No Line + Layer stamping BAF: Coneflower. Background 3D folder heat embossed with GOLD ep on the raised edges, Plus some extra leaves cut from the JUST LEAVES die set for a fuller arrangement.
Featuring:
BAF: Coneflower
3D Embossing Folder: Angled Mosaic
Just Leaves Die set- imperfectly inked with the leaf stamps from the BAF: Coneflower set
Crisp Inks: Shades of Purple, Lapis Lazuli, Nature's Wonders
EP: Antique GOLD Embossing Powder
Sequins: Satin White- colored with Artist Marker

I always like seeing the side by side comparisons. It is surprising how different the end results can be even if you are using the same stamps and colors. I think this set goes especially well with the daisy embossing folder. That is beautiful!

I can't decide which I like most! I never would have thought of using just part of the embossed frame background but it is scaled perfectly with the partial flowers. Love the no outline watercolor feel and the gold embossed one as well. Thanks for so many great ideas from one stamp set!
