Altenew Celebrating Parents Card Drive Blog Hop

Hello everyone! I have a special post for today.
We are celebrating Parents and the Elderly by bringing attention to the Celebrating Parents Card Drive at Altenew.

I am always honored to be a part of this hop, as I think our parents and elderly generation often get forgotten in this Tech filled generation.

How Blessed, are we, that God has given us a passion to create something that can easily be given away to brighten someone's day?!?! With a bit of paper and imagination, lives can be changed with PAPER SMILES. That is what I like to call our handmade cards :))

Altenew's goal is to send cards for the elderly that live in nursing homes or shelters to let them know they’re not forgotten. We encourage YOU to check out the Celebrating Parents Card Drive and join this great cause by sending in cards.

Altenew has a few of their products that are great for your Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards (and other year-round projects!
I have Three cards with a Mandala type focal point to get your creative mojo going. Each card front is trimmed down to show a hint of a Stenciled matting behind it. All three Sentiments are from the FANCY GREETINGS stamp set.

"How Blessed, are we, that God has given us a passion to create something that can easily be given away to brighten someone's day?!?!" YES THIS! If one card gives a smile to someone who needed one then it is a good day.<3
