Royal Flourish Glimmer collection by Becca Feeken

Hi Ya friends!

I'm so thrilled to have been invited to play with the Royal Flourish Glimmer Plate collection by Becca Feeken! It‘s such a lovely feminine collection of plates that can add a kiss of foil glimmer, shimmer, and shine to any crafty project!
I am guest posting over on the Spellbinders blog today, sharing these first three cards, (shown below) over there in more detail.
*******
And as promised on that post at Spellbinders, I have two more cards made with the Royal Flourish collection and the supplies from the June Card Kit of the Month.
Here they are:
This one features the Imperial Adorned Ovals foiled in Silver onto an ink smooched background and embellished with stickers and paper from the kit.

*******
This last card has the PRISM foil heated with the Petite Looking Glass Frame onto yellow cardstock from the June kit. I like how the Prism Glimmer foil compliments both the gold foiling on the sentiment banner and the gold sequins.
Those sweet heart die cuts are from teh kit as well.

I have really enjoyed using the Royal Flourish Glimmer Plate collection to add a little something extra special to my cards!

Here is a list of Spellbinders supplies used for all 5 cards:
Glimmer Hot Foil System

Other supplies:
Strathmore 140lb water color cold press paper
Altenew inks
Kuretake Zig clean color real brush markers
Scrapbook liquid adhesive
Dimensional foam tape
Altenew washi tape

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today :) I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects using the Glimmer Hot Foil System Royal Florish by Becca Feeken!

Happy crafting!

STAMPlorations June Theme & Sketch Challenge

Hello STAMPlorations fans.

As I understand the sorrow that Shery is going through after the sudden loss of her father, I wanted to encourage her and anyone else walking through a valley at this time. It has been a great comfort to seek His strength and gain comfort through Him, knowing that My Lord will never leave me.

Here is my card for the JUNE Theme and Sketch challenge.
To make the card:
  • I used the Plaid Maker stencil to create a "V" pattern on the cardfront with Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Crack Pistachio Distress Oxides...By adding a large post-it note down the center of the panel as I inked the stencil at an angle.
  • Then I stamped the Blooms several times
  • Let the inks dry
  • And finished with heat embossing the sentiment with black EP
  • Added a few color details to the flower centers with alcohol markers and white Gel pen
  • Embellished with sequins
  • Trimmed the finished panel down to 4x5.25" and popped it on to an A2 sized card base

Here is the Theme and Sketch graphics for June.

Looking forward to seeing what you Create for this month's challenge at STAMPlorations!

Here are the details for the THEME and Sketch challenge:
  • Link up any type of project(s) based on the theme, the sketch, or both.
  • You must use stamps in your project(s) -- rubber, clear, or digi from any company. Non-STAMPlorations stamps are OK.
  • Link up to 6 entries and link up to as many other challenges as you want.

Hello and welcome cardmaking friends!!

I'm over the moon excited to share the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month - June with you.  The colors featured in this kit scream SUMMER! ..and yes there is even ice cream in the box :)) Take a look at the list of goodies inside the box.

And here are my first 6 cards created using supplies only in the kit. (I'll be sharing 5 more cards later this month featuring GLIMMER plates and the June card kit supplies)

It was thrilling to get back to the art of pure papercrafting by mixing/matching pattern papers, and the die-cut shapes creating freestyle vignettes!

Card 4:
For this one, can you find the candle turned on it's side and used as an accent to the sentiment?
 *******

Card 5:
The only stamping I did was for a tone on tone pink swirly pop background using the Super Chill stamp set in the kit.
 *******
Card 6:
As you can see, I got the sewing machine out for stitchy goodness on many of these cards :)
*******
There you go!  6 cards so far from one Card Kit of the Month..5 more cards to share in my next post and there's still so much left over for more cardmaking therapy in the future.
