Happy 2020 Friends!!!

Layering Guide

Build-A-Flower: Triumph Tulip & Ink Bundle(5% discount)
This is a fabulously versatile set featuring two multi stamp tulip blooms and 3 leaves with some of the best filler images to up your creative game!! Layering these tulips is easy with the guide found in the set.
I have created three cards for today using the Build-A-Flower : Triumph Tulip.
Take a closer look:)
For this first card I used the tiny branch images to create a wreath background for the layered Triumph Tulips that are die cut and paired with more die cut elements from the set.

Supplies used:
Crisp inks: Frosty Pink, Morning Frost, Evening Gray, Aqualicious, Mountain Mist
 *******

I'll let you in on a secret.
We are expecting our second grand baby any day now..and the surprise of the baby's gender will not be revealed until he/she arrives. Yes, our family is old fashioned that way.
So in light of that happiness I wanted to have a Blue card on hand, as well as the pink card above, ready for the big day!

To achieve these blue Triumph Tulips, I mixed Aqualicious, Tide Blue, Mountain Mist, and Volcanic Lake on the different layers. The leaves are inked with Morning Frost and Evening Gray. And the tiny sprigs are inked with Frosty Pink and details added with the R302 Artist Marker.
The String Art Rectangles Die Set provided a straight line of holes for stitchng the bakers twine trough.
*******
For this last one I did some No-line coloring using the Artist Markers and 0 Colorless Blender. I have a video capture of my coloring process.
Artist Marker Colors used:
0 Colorless Blender
S Black
C001, Y205, Y204, Y212
G702, G554, G804, G825, G935

Sea Breeze Crisp Ink

LauraJane, congratulations upon the new grandbaby arriving! Very exciting for all. (You must have married quite young because you look like you are in your late 30s! I bet all that creativity and wonderful family keep you young!
I adore both color combos and your family members will really cherish this card as a great memento of the new birth! I also like the wooden panel you created behind the blue tulips! So very sweet both of them and again congrats on your new addition!

My niece is expecting this June - she isn't old-fashioned and we'll know for sure on Jan 11. But, the heartbeat is fast, so we think it'll be a girl to join a sister and brother. Both cards are lovely.

Your color combos are just stunning. I love the old fashioned way that you find out when the baby is born. I did that with both boys and never regretted it. My friends were baffled by it but I loved not knowing!!!
