Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Rose Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to my stop on the Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Rose Release Blog Hop and remember there are Giveaways for leaving comments on each stop of the hop! I have the full BLOG HOP LIST at the end of this post.

Of course I went yellow with this gorgeous rose layering die set!
For this first card I cut all of the Craft-A-Flower: Rose from 110 lb cardstock and used my small ink blending tools to color each layer with varying color of yellow and the leaves I cut from mixed media scraps. I just love a varied look on the leaves!
Next I assemble the rose and the leaves and place them on a card front stenciled with Square Weave Pattern Stencil added some splatter and a nest of metallic thread and grabbed a few embossed sentiments and assembled the card.
Featuring:
Crisp Ink Collections: Pocketful of Sunshine, Green Valley

*******

Stretching my supplies for this second card.... I cut stencils from those CAF: ROSE layering dies for a simple ink blended one-layer panel.
Featuring:

So have you tried using your Craft-A-Flower sets to create stencils?

Both cards are so pretty. I especially like the first one. The background is so perfect- like the rose is growing on a trellis! I will refer back to this card when I make cards using flowers.
