Altenew 5th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 4 + Giveaway

Happy Friday Everyone! Today I am excited to be a part of the 5th Year Celebration at ALTENEW
You should have arrived from my fellow guest designer, TaeEun Yoo! It appears that You have made it to the NEXT to the last stop on Day 4 of the Bloghop:)) Thank you for stopping in today.  Have you enjoyed the past three days of inspiration as much as I have?

I have a couple of projects featuring many favorite Altenew products to celebrate the Five years of Papercrafting Goodness!

This first one is a card featuring one of my favorite floral stamp sets released last year.
Inked Floral bundle colored with the Watercolor Brush Markers to resemble a succulent.

I've layered several papers from Verdant Walk 6x6 Paper Pack to highlight the watercolored bloom. And utilizing skills learned in several Altenew Academy Classes, I die-cut then rotated the bloom for an interesting peak at the pretty papers beneath.
The Signature Words Die Set is is always an elegant choice for a quick sentiment.

*******

The florals from Altenew are so lovely, they deserve to be used for so much more than just Papercraft projects!!

HOOP ART:

Did you know that stamps can be used as patterns for simple to complex embroidery art?   Last year I endeavored to learn a few stitches to stretch my stamps and create home decor.

My hoop art features stamps from Floral FrameFloral Motifs, and Doodle Blooms

If you are interested in Stitching up some projects yourself, I have listed Links below for you to check out.

Stitching takes time, yet it's an easy project to take on the go and can be as relaxing as coloring!

I thought this looked like the letter C for Celebration! Perfect for the festivities at Altenew this week:))

Congratulations Altenew! Here's to many more creative Years with products to influence our crafting addiction!!

What a great post! I used to embroidery and cross stitch and now and then I think about doing it more. Thank you for the inspiration and the links to how you did other items. I love that Altenew incorporated stitching into their stamps so that we can use them either for the faux look of stitching or to use as templates to stitch either on cards or as you mentioned décor. I also used to take designs and stich on shirts for gifts. Thank you for sharing!!
